🎨 Douha Koudisi – Architectural and Visual Artist
Douha Koudisi is a distinguished architectural and visual artist, widely recognized for her mastery in resin (epoxy) art, painting beautiful artworks, and contemporary visual arts. She creates artistic tables, decorative candles, and beautiful plates, as well as sculptures and mixed-media pieces that combine creativity, color, and architectural precision.
Her artistic journey began at the age of seven, exploring drawing, embroidery, and painting, and by ten, she was creating her own original artworks. She graduated from the Faculty of Architecture in 1970 and worked as a teaching assistant at the University of Aleppo before running her own architectural design office for over 30 years. This experience shaped her approach to art, where structure, balance, and harmony play a central role.
After relocating to the United Arab Emirates due to the war, Douha continued to develop her practice, participating in numerous local and international exhibitions. Her art focuses on blending fine art with functional design, experimenting with materials, forms, and textures to create pieces that are both visually striking and uniquely crafted.
She strives to push the boundaries of traditional techniques, creating works that reflect a dialogue between form, light, and material, leaving a lasting impression on viewers. Every creation she makes, from a shimmering resin table to a delicate candle, a beautifully crafted plate, or a stunning painting, reflects her passion, imagination, and dedication to bringing beauty into everyday life.
